Essex based Design Window and Door Systems has invested in a new Rotox SVK 506-4K – Vertical Quad Welder.
The company can now produce in excess of 800 windows per week out of their 25,000f2. factory.“This is the second Vertical Quad Welder to be supplied by Winmac and we were so pleased with the first one, that it was an easy decision to purchase the second one to cope with the volumes of our high Sash to Frame ratio,” said David Martin – director of Design Windows.
Winmac has also recently installed a Schirmer BAZ-1000-G6-SU1 Cutting and Machining Centre, which supported the many other Welders and CNC Corner Cleaners supplied and installed by Winmac.
David said: “Choosing Winmac to solve our machine requirements is easy as over the years their machines have proved to be so reliable and well advanced over anything else available and their all round service is definitely second to none.”
Winmac also said that the benefits of the new Rotox SVK 506-4K Vertical Quad Welder is the ability to work squares and also accept ‘H’ welded frames and ‘top and tail’ the frame or sashes. The Quick-Change contour block system enables customers to easily change between various products or systems without the use of any external removal tools.
The Quick-Change heater plate system enables the operator to remove and replace Teflon sleeves easily and again without the need of external removal tools.
